I used to know that no matter what happened my dad would be there to help. Now he's gone and I just don't know.

I'm sorry I keep making these long posts about how my life is. I just feel better when I let it out, like I have someone to talk to about all this.

In the end I didn't go to the brunch. But that was (mostly) not cowardice on my part -- I looked up the restaurant, which I should have done before, and found out it was a very meat and egg-intensive buffet so I wasn't sure what I'd be able to eat. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

But I was also able to stay up late and make sure my Passover cooking was finished.

You know how some people like to make "zombie Jesus" jokes around this time of year? Well, apparently the church around here (and I emphasize that it is a real church) wanted to get in on it. I got this in my mailbox today.

I don't have time to answer comments right now because I'm running off to a therapy appointment. However I wanted to tell everybody that the job interview actually went pretty well and it looks like a good place to work, though much harder than my current job. But I don't think they're going to hire me because they're looking for someone who can work every other weekend and my job doesn't permit that. So it was probably a waste of everyone's time.

However if they did hire me and if they could give me two shifts a week and if I could keep both jobs my troubles would be over. (Also I'd be getting experience with ventilator-dependent patients which is pretty valuable.) So... I'm hoping.

I was talking about this to some people before, but I decided to get rid of my PS3. It wasn't going to be a huge moneymaker if I sold it, but I never use it.
